Returns & Warranty

14-Day Returns

At Lindendale Diamonds, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

Eligible jewellery may be returned within 14 days of delivery for an exchange or refund, provided the item is unworn, in its original condition, and returned with all original packaging and certificates.

Custom-made, personalised, resized or specially commissioned pieces may not be eligible for return or may be subject to different conditions. Please contact us before returning any item.

12-Month Manufacturing Warranty

Lindendale Diamonds provides a 12-month manufacturing warranty covering faults resulting from the manufacturing process.

Each piece is carefully inspected before delivery. If you believe your jewellery has developed a manufacturing fault, please contact us so the piece can be assessed.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, impact, improper use or lack of appropriate care.

This may include:

  • Worn, bent, lifted or damaged claws
  • Stone loss resulting from impact or damaged settings
  • Scratches, dents or misshapen bands
  • Rhodium plating wear or discolouration
  • Damage resulting from everyday wear or accidental impact

If our jeweller determines that the issue is related to manufacturing, the appropriate repair will be covered under warranty. If the damage is considered the result of wear, impact or accidental damage, we can still assist with the repair, but charges may apply.

Third-Party Repairs & Alterations

Any resizing, repair, modification or alteration performed by another jeweller may void the Lindendale Diamonds manufacturing warranty, as we cannot guarantee or take responsibility for work performed by a third party.

We recommend contacting us first if your jewellery requires resizing, maintenance or repair.

Jewellery Care & Inspections

Fine jewellery is designed to be worn, but regular care is essential to preserve it.

We recommend having diamond and gemstone jewellery professionally inspected at least once a year, particularly to check claws, settings and stones.

We also recommend arranging appropriate jewellery insurance to protect against circumstances that are not covered by our manufacturing warranty, including accidental damage, loss or theft.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method wherever possible.

Items showing signs of wear, accidental damage, alteration or third-party repair may not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

Custom-made, personalised and specially commissioned pieces are generally non-refundable unless they are found to have a manufacturing fault or where otherwise required by Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
